Frequently Asked Questions
Prior to your initial visit with any provider we ask that you arrive 5-10 minutes early to fill out any remaining paperwork (ie consent forms). All intake forms will be pre-sent to you with your original appointment confirmation email, and we ask that you fill this out in advance so your practitioner can review before meeting.
We direct bill to a variety of insurance companies in BC. You can check with our receptionist on arrival if your extended health benefit plan is eligible for direct billing. This process will require you to have a credit card on file.
If your plan is not approved for direct billing, you will be asked to pay for your treatment and self-submit. Please note that not all services covered by your extended health plan are able to be directly submitted (ie: osteopathy).
We also have a few services offered at AIM that are NOT covered by extended health coverage (Somatic Body Work & Functional Blood Testing).
Lastly, we ask that you dress appropriately for the treatment you will be receiving (ie comfortable clothing).
If you have questions, please feel free to ask our receptionist at time of booking, or on arrival.
