IASTM

Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) is a soft tissue modality performed with ergonomically designed stainless steel tools that are effective at detecting and treating myofascial restrictions, typically those areas exhibiting soft tissue adhesion, inflammation, or degeneration.

It can be used in both acute or chronic musculoskeletal conditions. The major benefit of IASTM is that it decreases overall treatment time which contributes to a faster rehabilitation and recovery.

This therapy is commonly used in combination with Chiropractic adjustments, Active Release Technique, and exercise prescription.
