Leesoo Kim is a Registered Acupuncturist (R.Ac), licensed in British Columbia through CCHPBC, with a strong foundation in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) and a special interest in holistic, patient-centered care.

With studies in psychology and training in counseling, along with years of experience in customer service, she brings deep empathy and attentiveness to her clinical practice. Leesoo believes in treating each patient as a unique individual, tailoring treatments to address both symptoms and their root causes.

Her approach is grounded in active listening, trust-building, and a commitment to long-term wellness. She strives to create a comfortable space where patients feel truly supported—physically and emotionally.

Leesoo’s journey into acupuncture began with her own health struggles, which inspired her to understand the body more deeply. This personal experience continues to shape her whole-person approach. Drawing from both Traditional Chinese Medicine and Korean Medicine philosophies, she provides integrative care that supports the body’s natural ability to heal and restore balance.

Her clinical interests include:

      Gastrointestinal and digestive issues

     • Insomnia

     • Fatigue

     • Pain management (muscle tension, chronic pain)

     • Migraines

     • Women’s health (PMS, irregular menstruation, and more)

      • Emotional imbalance and stress (anxiety, depression)

Leesoo is trained in:

     • Acupuncture

     • Motor point and trigger point acupuncture

     • Electro-acupuncture

     • Cupping therapy

     • Chinese herbal medicine

     • TCM-based dietary and lifestyle therapy

Acupuncture involves the gentle insertion of fine needles into specific points where nerves, muscles, and connective tissues intersect. This process helps improve circulation and stimulates the body’s natural mechanisms for pain relief.

Motor point and trigger point acupuncture techniques target overactive or contracted muscles to help restore joint function and reduce pain or tendonitis—often with noticeable results in just a few treatments.

Leesoo is currently completing the final stages of her studies to become a TCMP, and continues to deepen her clinical knowledge through ongoing studies in broader health sciences.

Fluent in both English and Korean, and having grown up in various countries, she brings a culturally informed, thoughtful, and compassionate presence to her work—always focused on treating the whole person, not just the symptoms.

Her passion lies in making Traditional Chinese Medicine more accessible—helping it gently weave into people’s everyday lives in ways that are simple, natural, and meaningful.
